Woolworths Taste Magazine

Taste Magazine
Because of my keen interest in cooking, food magazines are pretty much the first thing I purchase at the beginning of each month.

Luckily I am never spoilt for choice due to the growing amount of culinary specific magazines currently on the shelves. But even with a variety to choose from, TASTE Magazine is always the one that I look out for first.

Taste Magazine

I think what makes TASTE different from other food magazines is the range of recipes. For me variety is truly the spice of life. TASTE gives you ideas and inspiration to make things you never would have thought of.

In the December 2008 issue there is a recipe for Panettone wafers layered with creamy yoghurt and fresh fruit, drizzled with nougat cream. The picture and the description completely caught my attention. To say that this recipe was delicious would be an understatement.

TASTE seems to have it all for me. The recipes are catered towards beginners as well as experienced cooks, the flavours in each recipe go fabulously well together, and the types of recipes draw you in to actually get excited and inspired about cooking them, its clear that each recipe is well thought out. That to me is the most important of all.

The ingredients in every recipe is available from Woolworths, so you know that everything will be available to you and in season.

In 2008 the magazine won several notable awards including; Customer Magazine of the Year and Magazine of the Year at the annual Advantage ADvantage AdMag awards.

Here are a few of their excellent recipes online;
The world of mushrooms
Citrus fruits

If you are thinking about giving a food magazine a try, then I definitely recommend TASTE. You won’t be disappointed.

Taste can be found in all Woolworths food stores around the begining of the month for R24.95
